Abbie- I started work at Wood Street Veterinary Hospital in September 2014 when I began a 2 year placement as part of my nursing diploma. In August 2016 I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse and was keen to stay at Wood Street to further my learning and knowledge. At home I have 2 bouncy labradors - Bella who is 4 and Kenny who is only 10 weeks old. I also have a cat who is equally as energetic. Growing up, my two passions in life were for swimming and animals, which was why when I got the opportunity to undertake the hydrotherapy course I was thrilled. I completed my Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy at Greyfriars in January 2017, and since then have been working in our hydrotherapy unit in Radlett, alongside continuing my work as a registered Veterinary nurse at Wood Street. In the future I hope to further my knowledge in rehabilitation and orthopaedics.
